Purely Red is a three-piece alternative metal band from Gainesville, Florida, formed by Griffin Williams. Consisting of Griffin Williams, Raphael Bichier and Collin Stivender, Purely Red is the answer to this generation of rock and metal, leaving behind many of the tropes and overused themes of the genre, they build upon their influences while giving the style a breath of fresh air. Held down by a tight rhythm section and melodic vocals, the band tackles subject matter concerning issues that currently plague the world, ranging from division and violence, to more personal struggles such as anxiety and depression. The band has currently released one EP, one album, and two singles with plans to release more music in the near future.
